Hello Ma'am, What kind of injury was it ? Twisting injury or fall ?? For now to reduce swelling put pillow in the night beneath the foot. While you are resting try to keep the foot on chair or something which keeps the foot on the same level as you. If swelling doesn't subside you can take serratiopeptidase tablet twice a day before food and use crepe bandage If the injury is more than a week and still has swelling or pain get an x ray of the foot. Thank you.

Hi Ramya, It sounds like your injury is still healing, which is why the swelling returns when you try to walk normally. Typically, mild injuries take 1–2 weeks to heal, while moderate injuries can take 3–6 weeks. If it’s a minor fracture, it could take longer. I recommend following the R.I.C.E. method (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) to reduce the swelling and give it time to heal. Avoid putting full weight on the injured leg for now. If the swelling persists or worsens, it’s best to consult a doctor for an X-ray or further treatment.
