Post cataract surgery complication - #10500

Sajida

Drops My mother recently had cataract surgery with lens implant and laser for astigmatism about a week ago. She is using Oflopred and Naphgen drops as prescribed. Since surgery, she has persistent eye pain, especially when speaking or moving her face, minor white discharge, and swelling of her eyelids and under-eye area. Vision is mostly clear, but discomfort continues. I am concerned about possible infection, inflammation, or other complications and want guidance on whether this is normal post-surgery, whether she needs urgent in-person evaluation, and what immediate care should be done at home.
