Doubt regarding stray dog contact - #10370
Hello doctor. A stray dog briefly sniffed my jeans (no bite, no scratch, no licking). There may have been moisture from the dog’s nose on the jeans. After about 2–3 minutes, I touched that area and later touched my face/eyes. I have small superficial cuts on my hand that sting with soap, but there was no direct saliva contact with my skin or wounds. Is this considered rabies exposure or is vaccination needed?
