Hi Biswanath, your symptoms suggest digestive or urinary issues, possibly related to bloating or gas. Investigations: 1. Abdominal Ultrasound (USG) – To check for gallstones, liver, and kidney conditions. 2. Urine RE C/S – To assess for infections or stones. 3. Liver Function Test (LFT) – To evaluate liver health. 4. Kidney Function Test (KFT) – To assess kidney health. 5. Abdominal X-ray – To rule out any intestinal issues or excess gas. Advice: • Drink plenty of water to help with digestion and kidney function. • Avoid carbonated drinks and heavy meals late at night. • Include light exercise like walking to aid digestion and reduce bloating. • Monitor your diet and consider avoiding gas-producing foods (beans, cabbage, etc.).

Mam , Please see MY USG REPORT. IMPRESSION: Mild hepatomegaly with grade I fatty changes in liver. 1. LIVER: Liver is mildly enlarged in size (154 mm) with grade I fatty changes. No focal lesion of altered echogenicity is seen. Intrahepatic biliary radicles are not dilated. The portal vein branches and hepatic veins are normal. GALL BLADDER: Well distended lumen shows no intra-luminal calculus or mass. Wall thickness is normal. No pericholecystic collection or mass formation is noted. KIDNEYS: Both Kidneys are normal in shape, size and position. Cortical echogenicity and thickness are normal with normal cortico- medullary differentiation in both kidneys. No calculus or mass is noted. The perinephric region shows no abnormal fluid collection. Please advise do's and don'ts & medicine if any.
Biswanath ji, At this stage, no medication is required. The primary focus should be on lifestyle changes to prevent progression of fatty liver. Regular follow-up with liver function tests is recommended. Lifestyle Modifications: • Diet: Focus on a balanced, low-fat diet, avoid alcohol, and limit sugary foods. • Exercise: Incorporate regular physical activity (30 minutes most days). • Weight Management: If overweight, aim for gradual weight loss through diet and exercise. • Hydration: Drink plenty of water. Hope this helps :)

Your USG report shows mild hepatomegaly (slightly enlarged liver) with Grade I fatty changes, which is early stage and reversible. Gall bladder and kidneys are normal. What You Should Do: - Eat a healthy, low-fat, high-fiber diet(more vegetables, fruits, whole grains). - Exercise daily (30–45 minutes walking or yoga). - Stay hydrated (2.5–3 liters water per day). - Control weight if overweight. - Manage stress and maintain a healthy routine. What You Should Avoid: - No alcohol, smoking, junk food, fried foods, or sugary drinks. - Avoid unnecessary medicines like painkillers without advice. please consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation. Stay healthy! Dr. Aman Shaba (Consultant Neuropsychiatrist)
You should get an abdominal ultrasound (USG whole abdomen) and urine routine test first. Visit a gastroenterologist or general surgeon for further evaluation.
