I have a 4 year old son that has been diagnosed twice this year for Croup. He goes to bed fine and then he will wake up in the middle of the night with congested breathing and a Croup like cough. When I’ve taken him to the ER, they’ve given him steroids which seem to help tremendously. He woke up at 4AM last night with the same thing, no fever, no runny nose.
