Fertility Advice After Miscarriage - #10604
I would like to seek guidance regarding conceiving after a recent miscarriage. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks on 14 December. After that, my first menstrual period returned on 15 January. Since then, I have noticed that my cycle has changed from my usual 28 days to about 25 days. I am concerned about whether this change is normal and if it could affect my ovulation or chances of conceiving. In February and March, I actively tried to conceive during my fertile window, but I was not successful. In March, I experienced several symptoms that felt similar to early pregnancy, including bloating, cramps, increased hunger, fatigue, sweating, and a slightly raised body temperature. However, I then got my period on 2 April. I would like to understand whether these symptoms could be related to hormonal changes, such as fluctuations in Progesterone, rather than pregnancy. During my first pregnancy, I experienced spotting and bleeding and was prescribed Duphaston and Pregnacare. I would like to know if I should consider using progesterone support again when trying to conceive or after a positive pregnancy test. I am currently 35 years old and would prefer to conceive naturally if possible. Additionally, I would like guidance on: Whether it is safe for me to start trying again immediately after my current period The best way to track ovulation with a shorter cycle Any vitamins or supplements I should take to improve my chances of conception Thank you for your time and guidance. I look forward to your recommendations.
