Doctors’ responses

Hi Nagma, Your low-risk dual, quadruple markers, and normal anomaly scan are very reassuring. Choroid plexus cysts, when isolated, are common and usually harmless—they often resolve on their own. Since no other abnormalities were found, the risk of trisomy 18 is extremely low. Try to manage stress with light prenatal yoga or deep breathing. You’re on the right track—trust your reports and your doctors.

Nothing to worry maa becz your dual markers and quadraple markers which are gold standard for diagnosing triosomies which are normal ... so no evidence of downs and edwards syndrome .. coming to cpc which will be resolved on its own in third trimester... its excess of cerebrospinal fluid production which will be resolved no need to worry .. plz have regular follow ups at your obg doctor

Advice & Reassurance: CPCs in isolation (without other anomalies and with low-risk genetic markers) are not indicative of chromosomal abnormalities Trisomy 18 usually presents with multiple structural anomalies, which are absent in this case Continue routine antenatal care and follow-up ultrasounds Monitor for pain severity, fresh bleeding, or reduced fetal movements Practice relaxation techniques to manage anxiety (deep breathing, prenatal yoga, guided meditation)
