Fasting in calorie break-even - #10425

Mallyc Louis

Hey doc, I'm a 15 year old student. My weight is 45KG and height is 165 centimeters. I'm facing some problems recently with my metabolism and ability to digest food. I often feel heavy after eating something. According to my estimates, my average daily calorie intake hovers around 2,500 calories. Now, Ramadan is about to start. I have only fasted once in my life a couple of years ago and on that day, I fainted in my school due to headache and weakness caused by dehydration and calorie defecit as suggested by the local doctor. Now my family is forcing me to try fasting this year but I'm not really sure about it as I still experience headache and weakness if I don't hydrate or eat for a while. Also, I frequently suffer from headaches. Please guide me about what should I do?
