Doctors’ responses

Vikash, ek saal se liver aur thyroid ki problem face karna mentally aur physically dono tarah se exhausting ho sakta hai. Aapke doctor ne kaha ki thyroid badhne se SGPT badh sakta hai, lekin ab jab thyroid control mein hai, phir bhi SGPT normal nahi ho raha, toh isko thoda aur detail mein samajhna zaroori hai. 1. Aapke latest thyroid (TSH, T3, T4) aur liver (SGPT, SGOT, bilirubin) reports dekhne se clear hoga ki problem kaha pe hai. Agar recent reports hain toh bata sakte hain. 2. Koi symptoms jaise fatigue, pet dard, nausea, weight gain ya loss, ya aankhon ya twacha pe peela pan toh nahi hai? Yeh liver se judi dikkat ka sign ho sakta hai. 3. Aap koi medicines ya supplements le rahe hain kya? Kabhi kabhi thyroid ya painkillers ki dawaiyon se bhi liver enzymes high ho sakte hain. 4. Aapka diet aur lifestyle kaisa hai? Kabhi kabhi zyadah oily ya processed food khane se, ya sedentary lifestyle hone se SGPT normal hone mein waqt lagta hai. 5. Agar yeh problem 6 mahine se zyada se chal rahi hai, toh ultrasound aur hepatitis ka test karwana zaroori ho sakta hai. Agar aap mujhe latest reports bata sakte hain toh aur acche se guide kar sakungi. Filhaal, healthy diet, hydration aur halka exercise maintain karke dekhiye, aur agar SGPT ab bhi badha rahta hai toh gastroenterologist se consult karna best rahega.

Hello With regards to your concern liver enzymes get altered in many conditions. Repeat the test after 4 weeks. Thyroid and liver both are not related directly to each other. Get ULTRA sonography of abdomen and liver rule out any fatty liver. Reduce spicy smoky foods.

Aapka concern bilkul valid hai, aur ye achha hai ki aap apni health ko leke serious hain. Jab thyroid (specially hypothyroidism) control ho jata hai, toh ideally liver enzymes jaise SGPT bhi normal ho jate hain — lekin agar SGPT abhi bhi high hai, toh iska matlab hai ki liver ke issue ka koi alag ya additional cause ho sakta hai. Aapko fatty liver, viral hepatitis (jaise Hepatitis B/C), alcohol use, ya long-term medicines (painkillers, supplements, etc.) ka evaluation karna chahiye. Kabhi-kabhi non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) bhi SGPT ko badha deta hai, jo young patients me common hota hai — especially agar weight zyada ho ya insulin resistance ho. Aapke case me ultrasound abdomen, liver function test (LFT), lipid profile, sugar test (FBS/HbA1c), and viral markers jaisi basic investigations help karengi. Filhal ke liye, aapko ek liver-friendly diet (kam tel, processed food, aur sugar se bachna), regular physical activity aur vitamin E + liver support supplements (doctor ki guidance me) lena chahiye. Let me know agar aap chahte ho ki main ek simple liver care diet chart ya test list tayar kar du jo aap apne doctor ko dikhayen
