When should I go back to the hospital? - #10198
I have POTS and at the hospital they diagnosed me with influenza A. I went because my resting heart rate, for 12 hours, wouldn’t go below 110. They sent me home after an IV bag which dropped my hr to 95 but caused such severe presyncope they wheeled me out in a wheelchair. My issue I’m having right now is that the presyncope is pretty bad, my heart rate is fluctuating between 95-105, and it feels like I’m fighting an uphill battle trying to stay hydrated. My blood pressure is dropping 30+ systolic when I stand as well (which is outside my normal POTS flare ups).
