Galactocele is the usually common in lactating women and it will be in maximum size during lactation.Usually it resolves on its own by 10months after stopping the process of lactation. It is felt as a lump in breast. It is often confused with breast abcess or carcinoma breast(if it is calcified) So dont worry, for confirmation get ultrasound of breast and aspiration study(FNAC) If it is not resolving on its own or causing trouble, then aspiration of the contents and excision is advisable under cover of antibiotics. Better to consult nearest Surgeon.
