Hi Husanpreet, it sounds like you’re dealing with persistent acne, and it’s important to address it from multiple angles: 1. Dermatologist Review: Since your acne is still growing despite treatments, consider revisiting your dermatologist. You might need stronger treatments like oral medications (antibiotics, hormonal therapy, or isotretinoin) alongside topical products. 2. Consistent Skin Care Routine: Stick to a gentle cleanser, and avoid over-exfoliating or switching products too frequently, as this can irritate the skin. Use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid (with dermatologist approval) for spot treatments. Also, moisturize with non-comedogenic products to keep your skin balanced. 3. Lifestyle Factors: • Proper Sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep. Sleep helps reduce stress hormones and aids in skin repair and regeneration, which can reduce acne. • Hydration: Drink around 8 glasses of water daily to flush out toxins and keep your skin hydrated, which can help reduce the risk of clogged pores. 4. Diet and Stress Management: Follow a healthy diet, manage stress, and avoid touching or squeezing pimples to prevent further irritation and scarring. If acne persists, your doctor may explore underlying hormonal imbalances

Hello, With regards to your concern Don't use the retinoids unless until prescribed by a qualified dermatologist. Acne spots / pigmentation can be reduced by Chemical peels. So don't get misleaded and start the products such as tretinoin/ adapalene/ any so and so product. Kindly review back for further information.

Patient Name: Husanpreet Kaur Age/Sex: 21 / Female Date: 12-04-2025 Chief Complaint: Severe pimples on the face, persistent despite treatment, acne marks reducing temporarily but pimples continue to grow. Assessment and Provisional Diagnosis: Acne Vulgaris (Severe): Persistent acne lesions despite dermatological treatments, likely due to an underlying hormonal imbalance, skin type, and possible lifestyle factors. Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation: Dark patches left after acne healing, typically caused by inflammation. Treatment Plan and Recommendations: 1. Acne Management: Topical Treatments: Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5% or 5%): A key ingredient for controlling acne by reducing bacteria on the skin. Apply to affected areas once daily. Adapalene (Differin): A topical retinoid that works by increasing skin cell turnover to prevent clogged pores. Use a pea-sized amount in the evening, after cleansing. Dark Spots and Hyperpigmentation: Topical Treatments: Face wash : Glutafine Sunscreen spf50 and P4+ avoid going out in the sun Lifestyle Adjustments: Dietary Changes: Avoid high-glycemic foods (sugars and refined carbs) which can trigger acne flare-ups. Focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Stress Management: Stress can worsen acne. Consider practicing yoga, meditation, or other stress-relieving activities. Avoid Touching Your Face: Refrain from picking or touching your face, as this can introduce bacteria and worsen acne. You can use tab isotroin 20mg daily for 2-3 months ( Not to be taken if pregnant or want to conceive or breastfeeding) Dr Shayeque Reza MD 9800280276
