Get blood investigations done like RA factor, ESR, CBC CRP and uric acid. If RA factor is positive should start DMARDS. For now take NSAIDS like piroxicam 1-0-1*(a/f) 5 days along with pan40/ omez 1-0- 0(b/f). If she isn't diabetic a short course steroids will help. But before taking steroids consult once

Hello Prachi, I’m sorry to hear about your mother’s joint pain. It’s essential to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and personalized treatment plan. In the meantime, over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB) and naproxen sodium (Aleve) can help reduce pain and inflammation associated with arthritis. Additionally, topical NSAIDs, such as diclofenac gel (Voltaren), can be applied directly to the affected joints for localized relief. Some individuals find relief using essential oils with anti-inflammatory properties. For example, eucalyptus oil has been shown to reduce pain and improve mood in people with arthritis. Lavender oil may also help alleviate pain when used in aromatherapy or diluted and applied topically. Always dilute essential oils with a carrier oil before applying to the skin to prevent irritation. Remember, these suggestions are general and should not replace professional medical advice. It’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate treatment for your mother’s specific condition.
