Doctors’ responses

Hi Shrutika, for treating comedonal acne, here are some key steps to follow: 1. Salicylic Acid: Continue using Salicylic Acid (like the Derma Co serum) to help unclog pores. Be patient, as results can take time. 2. Retinoids: Consider adding a retinoid (like Adapalene) to your routine. It speeds up skin cell turnover and prevents clogged pores. 3. Exfoliation: Use AHA/BHA exfoliants gently once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells and prevent acne. 4. Niacinamide: This can help reduce dark spots and improve skin texture. 5. Hygiene: Avoid touching your face with dirty hands, and never prick or burst pimples. This can worsen acne and cause scarring. 6. Patience and Consistency: Acne treatments take time, so stay consistent with your routine. 7. Dermatologist Consultation: If acne continues, consult a dermatologist for stronger treatments or oral medications. Incorporating these practices, along with proper hygiene, should help improve your acne and boost your confidence over time

avoid scrubbing, and always use sunscreen to prevent dark spots from worsening. Maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and manage stress levels, as these play a big role in keeping acne under control naturally. Consult dermatologist
