Menstrual problem - #9613

I'm 48...I had regular periods all my life though heavy flow from when it started initially..on Feb 16 I had a little spotting...I thought my periods started as my date was 22 but nothing happened....again on 26th Feb...I had spotting but no periods..then on March 2nd It started with spotting but very light flow...for 4 -5 days....then it stopped again spotting started sometimes very light sometimes little bit it continued until 22nd March then it stopped for 4-5 days...on April 1st I stated having bleeding with very heavy flow...it's 7th day 2day...talked to gynae...she suggested to have trapic e...and started some auyrvedic syrup and zinc tablets....I think it's perimenopause ...but can u suggest some remedy
