Hello Doctor, I have been experiencing persistent itching and dryness in my buttock area for the past 1–2 years. The skin appears scaly, sometimes thickened, and the itching gets worse at night or with sweat. I’ve used some creams before, which gave temporary relief, but the issue keeps coming back. Could this be a fungal infection or eczema? I’m looking for a proper diagnosis and a long-term treatment plan. Should I do any tests like a KOH examination or skin biopsy? Thank you.
