Skipping periods for three months, especially with a known history of PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease), suggests that your hormonal imbalance is still active. PCOD can lead to irregular cycles, weight changes, acne, and sometimes insulin resistance. While homeopathic treatment may help some people, it may not always be effective alone—especially when autoimmune markers like ANA (Antinuclear Antibody) are positive, which could indicate an underlying autoimmune condition affecting your hormonal system. To reverse PCOD, a combination approach works best: a balanced, low-glycemic diet, regular exercise (especially strength training and yoga), stress management, and targeted supplements or medications (like metformin or hormonal regulators) under a gynecologist's guidance. Since ANA positivity can slow healing, it's also wise to consult an immunologist or rheumatologist alongside your gynecologist. With the right plan and consistency, PCOD symptoms and your menstrual cycle can improve significantly over time.
