Internal vibrations and tremors, especially when trying to sleep, are often linked to anxiety, stress, or neurological sensitivity. Since your doctor has already assessed you and prescribed anti-anxiety medication, that suggests stress or anxiety as a likely cause. The sharp pain in the middle of your back lasting 30-40 seconds could be due to muscle spasm, nerve irritation, or even an acid reflux-related issue. Blood clots (like pulmonary embolism) usually cause persistent chest pain, shortness of breath, or symptoms that don’t resolve quickly. However, since you have hypothyroidism, ensure your thyroid levels are well-managed, as imbalances can contribute to muscle issues, nerve sensitivity, or anxiety-like symptoms. If you experience worsening pain, breathing difficulty, dizziness, or any new alarming symptoms, seek immediate medical attention. Otherwise, monitor your symptoms, continue prescribed treatment, and consider relaxation techniques like deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation to help with internal tremors. If you want have detailed evaluation, you can book for online consultation. Dr Aman Shaba Consultant Psychiatrist 7992489808

Internal vibrations and tremors, especially when linked to stress and anxiety, are common symptoms of an overactive nervous system. The sharp back pain you experienced could be due to muscle tension or a nerve-related issue, which can sometimes happen with anxiety. However, since you’ve had a stroke before, it’s important to be cautious. Sudden, sharp back pain could also indicate other issues, such as a muscle spasm, nerve irritation, or even something more serious. What you should do: If the pain was brief and didn’t return, it may have been a muscle spasm or tension-related. Continue with your prescribed anti-anxiety medication and consider gentle stretching or relaxation techniques. If the pain persists, worsens, or is accompanied by other symptoms (numbness, weakness, or chest pain), seek immediate medical attention to rule out neurological or cardiac issues. Stay hydrated, manage stress levels, and follow up with your doctor for further evaluation if the symptoms continue.
