6-year-old child with congenital hip dislocation and limping - #10243
My child is 6 years old. He was born with a problem in his hip/leg. At 3 months of age, he was treated with plaster (cast), then traction and physiotherapy. Despite this, he still has limping while walking. Doctors in our local area say it will improve with time, but I am worried because the limping continues. We live in a remote area and cannot travel to big cities due to financial problems. Please advise if massage and splint/cast for 10 days will help, or if any specific exercises, braces, or further treatment are needed. I have attached X-ray images for your review. What is the best option for his future walking?
