Rizwan ji, Samajh sakti hoon ki baar-baar ethmoidal nasal polyps hone aur multiple revision surgeries se aap kitne pareshan honge. Upar se steroids ka long-term use (60 mg Prednisolone daily) bhi ek issue ban gaya hai. Ab humein isko aise manage karna hai ki na baar-baar surgery karni pade, na steroids pe dependent rehna pade. Surgery ya Allergy Immunotherapy – Pehle kya karein? 1. Agar polyps bade hain, saans lene me dikkat ho rahi hai ya baar-baar infection ho raha hai, toh surgery zaroori ho sakti hai. 2. Agar polyps manageable hain, toh allergy immunotherapy (AIT) shuru karke usko control kar sakte hain. 3. Sabse best approach yeh hai ki pehle allergy test karaya jaye. Agar surgery karni pade, toh uske baad AIT start karna best hoga taaki recurrence kam ho. Long-Term Polyps Control Ke Liye • Nasal saline irrigation (steam & saline sprays) – Naak ko saaf rakhne aur inflammation control karne ke liye zaroori. • Intranasal steroid sprays (OTC – Fluticasone ya Mometasone) – Long-term ke liye oral steroids ka alternative ho sakta hai. • Allergy Triggers Avoid Karein – Dust, pollen, pollution, strong smells, dairy (agar allergic ho). • Probiotics Include Karein – Kyunki steroids immunity pe effect daalte hain, probiotics gut health aur immunity balance karne me help karenge. Steroids Ko Kaise Reduce Karein? 60 mg Prednisolone bahut high dose hai, aur baar-baar courses lene se side effects ka risk badhta hai. Isko taper karna zaroori hai, lekin bina doctor ke supervision ke suddenly band nahi karna chahiye. Agar baar-baar relapse ho raha hai, toh biologics therapy bhi ek option ho sakti hai (ENT specialist se discuss karein). Next Steps – Aapke Liye Best Plan • ENT doctor se consult karein aur check karein ki abhi surgery zaroori hai ya nahi. • Allergy Test karayein (Skin Prick ya IgE Blood Test) taaki pata chale kaunsi allergies aapke polyps ko trigger kar rahi hain. • Agar surgery hoti hai, toh uske baad allergy immunotherapy shuru karein taaki future me polyps wapas na aaye. • Steroids ka long-term use avoid karein aur nasal sprays + lifestyle changes pe shift hone ki koshish karein. Aap jo steps soch rahe ho, woh bilkul sahi direction me hain. Allergy immunotherapy ek long-term solution ho sakta hai, lekin usse pehle surgery ki zaroorat hai ya nahi, woh clear karna zaroori hai. Aap ek proactive approach le rahe ho, jo bahut achi baat hai.

How can I reduce inflation and allergy and heat from my body ?

This issue started after May 2023 and lasted until October. Initially, I thought it was heat rashes, so I used Dettol while bathing, but it didn’t help. I kept feeling itching and a needle-like sensation inside my skin, along with excessive sweating. Later, I tried Candid powder, but it didn’t work either. Over time, small acne appeared on my back. I consulted a general doctor who prescribed a lotion, which provided some relief, but the itching persisted. Then, I visited an Unani (Ayurvedic) doctor, took medicines for a month, but saw no improvement. Surprisingly, as winter arrived in November, my condition improved, and I was fine. In June 2024, the itching returned, mainly on my back in the afternoon, and I realized it was the same allergy or prickly heat. I took Unani medicines for four months but saw no relief. It became very painful whenever I sweated or my body generated heat. Again, as winter came, I got better. Now in 2025, I have started working out, and whenever my body heats up, I feel mild needle-like sensations. I know summer is approaching, so what should I do now? Please suggest a solution.

If you also have problem of frequent sneezes , itching sensation in nose / ears / throat- you are likely to have allergic rhinitis. This means your body is reacting aggressively to allergens either in your diet or/ surroundings like dust , pollution, pollen in gardens . Try to maintain allergy diary and you need to note down - what foods and what environmental changes are bringing these symptoms and need to avoid them in future . We advise to change bedsheets , pillow covers , curtains regularly . Practice steam inhalation with plain water . You can also undergo skin allergen testing to identify common allergens which are causing symptoms to your body and you need to avoid them. We give medicines for symptomatic improvement
