Doctors’ responses

Patient Name: Saqib Age/Sex: 25 Chief Complaint: Inability to run post lower limb injury (or musculoskeletal issue) History of Present Illness: The patient was actively preparing for the PET (Physical Efficiency Test) when she developed a sudden onset of lower limb discomfort. She has been on rest for the past one month. Initially, she was unable to walk. Over time, ambulation has improved and she is now able to walk without assistance. However, attempts to initiate running result in discomfort and inability to continue. Current Status: Walking: Comfortable Running: Unable due to persistent pain/discomfort Duration of Symptoms: 1 month Progress: Partial improvement with rest Provisional Diagnosis: Grade I/II soft tissue strain (likely hamstring/quadriceps group) Rule out stress fracture / underlying biomechanical imbalance Investigations: X-ray of the affected limb (AP/lateral views) – to rule out bony injury MRI (if pain persists beyond 2 weeks or mechanical symptoms present) Please follow up with the report soon.
