Doctor information
Experience:
4 years
Education:
Doctor of Medicine, (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences), Karnataka.
Academic degree:
MD (Doctor of Medicine)
Area of specialization:
My specialization lies in Internal Medicine, a dynamic and intellectually rewarding field that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of a wide spectrum of adult health conditions. I am particularly drawn to the challenge of identifying complex or overlapping symptoms and arriving at accurate diagnoses through detailed clinical evaluation and evidence-based reasoning. From managing common illnesses like diabetes and hypertension to investigating rare and multi-system disorders, I approach each case with a commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. My goal is not just to treat disease, but to restore health, functionality, and peace of mind for every patient I see.
Achievements:
I was honored as the Best Outgoing Postgraduate of the Internal Medicine 2018 batch at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and received the prestigious Professor K.N. Sharma Gold Medal for academic excellence in Internal Medicine. I have contributed to respected medical texts, including the Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics – South Asian Edition (2nd Ed.) and the Undergraduate Prep Manual of Medicine by Dr. Archith Boloor, reflecting my dedication to academic and clinical advancement.

I began my clinical journey as a Senior Resident at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital, affiliated with Bangalore Medical College, where I had the opportunity to manage a diverse range of medical and surgical cases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This role honed my diagnostic skills, sharpened my clinical decision-making, and deepened my understanding of multidisciplinary patient care. I was entrusted with complex cases that required acute clinical judgment and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. My commitment to academic excellence and evidence-based practice led to my promotion as Assistant Professor at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore — one of India’s most respected institutions in medical education. At KMC, I balanced clinical responsibilities with academic engagement, mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. I regularly conducted bedside clinics, lectures, and case-based discussions, fostering a learning environment that emphasized critical thinking, ethical practice, and continuous growth. In addition to teaching, I have actively contributed to clinical research initiatives, further strengthening my foundation in academic medicine. My dual involvement in teaching and research ensures that my clinical practice remains up to date with the latest guidelines and innovations in healthcare. I am particularly committed to delivering holistic, individualized care that addresses both the medical and emotional needs of my patients. Whether managing chronic conditions or acute illnesses, I strive to create a trusting doctor-patient relationship grounded in clear communication, clinical expertise, and respect for patient values. Each phase of my career — from residency to academia — has been shaped by a consistent drive for clinical excellence, lifelong learning, and compassionate care.
