Dr. Sudip Sen
With a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and a focused expertise in Periodontics and Oral Implantology, I bring over four years of dedicated experience in both academic training and hands-on patient care. I began my clinical journey as a Junior Resident at Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata, where I had the opportunity to train across three core departments — Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Periodontics — completing six months of intensive residency in each. This rotational training not only broadened my clinical exposure but also refined my diagnostic and surgical skills across multiple specialties. Driven by a deep interest in periodontal health and implant-based rehabilitation, I pursued a three-year postgraduate residency in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Implantology at SCB Government Dental College and Hospital, Cuttack. During this period, I was actively involved in the comprehensive management of periodontal diseases, regenerative procedures, flap surgeries, and implant placement protocols. My academic training was reinforced by extensive clinical experience in treating advanced periodontal conditions, performing mucogingival surgeries, and planning implant-supported restorations tailored to patient needs. I am committed to evidence-based dentistry and patient-centered care, ensuring every treatment plan is precise, personalized, and aligned with the latest advancements in periodontal therapy and implantology. I believe in a holistic approach to oral health, where prevention, education, and long-term maintenance are as crucial as surgical outcomes. By combining clinical proficiency with compassionate care, I strive to create a comfortable and informative experience for my patients, ensuring they feel empowered and confident throughout their treatment journey.

From the history you are giving there may be possibility of 2 lesions 1. Aphthous ulcer - for which youll be needing Lexanox ointment- to be applied thrice daily topically for 7 days If not got relieved by the mentioned ointment—> 2. Mucocele- for which you need to visit your local dentist for further surgical treatment (may be). Regards Dr Sudip Sen
