Doctors’ responses

Priyanka, Since you have PCOD and a stomach ulcer and want to conceive, I need a few details to guide you better: 1. Your height & weight (to check if weight management can help with PCOD) 2. How long have you been married and trying for pregnancy? 3. Is your menstrual cycle regular? Pregnancy Planning & Fertility Tips: • Fertile window: The most fertile days are 1-2 days before and on ovulation day (for a 28-30 day cycle, ovulation usually happens around day 12-16). • Track Ovulation: Use Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPKs), check cervical mucus (egg-white-like discharge), or use period tracking apps. • Weight & Diet: If needed, even 5-10% weight loss can improve ovulation. Avoid junk food, sugar, and processed carbs. Focus on a high-protein and fiber-rich diet. PCOD & Stomach Ulcer Care: • PCOD Supplements: Myo-inositol, Vitamin D, Folic Acid, and Probiotics (Florita 250mg for 14 days) can help. • Ulcer Care: Avoid spicy and oily food, eat small frequent meals, and manage stress. Coconut water or warm milk can help. • Pain & Bloating: Avoid NSAID painkillers, and if pain worsens, consult a doctor. If pregnancy doesn’t happen within 6 months or symptoms become severe, consult a fertility specialist.
