Fever, chills, and body pain after working on a cow farm – possible leptospirosis?” - #10217

Naseem khan faizi

“I recently started working on a cow farm. My job involves milking cows and having direct contact with cows, raw milk, and the farm environment. After two days of starting this work, I began to feel unwell. I developed fever, chills, strong cold sensations, body aches, and weakness. The fever comes back after sleeping and when I wake up. Because of my close contact with animals, I am concerned about a possible zoonotic infection, such as leptospirosis. I took ibuprofen once, but it was expired, and I did not continue taking it.
