Currently serving as Assistant Professor at IMS and SUM Hospital-2, I specialize in diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric and neurological conditions. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, psychosis, schizophrenia, mood disorders, dementia, Parkinsonism, OCD, personality disorders, ADHD, autism, and substance use disorders. I offer comprehensive care through both medical management and evidence-based psychotherapies. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and interpersonal and family-focused therapies. I also provide specialized services such as deaddiction therapy, marriage counseling, and psychotherapy for individuals and families. My approach is rooted in compassion, patient education, and tailored treatment plans that focus on long-term emotional resilience and functional recovery.
Achievements:
I am an IACAM Certified Child and Adolescent Specialist, a recognition that reflects my focused training and commitment to the mental health needs of young individuals. This certification has enhanced my ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders in children and adolescents using evidence-based, age-appropriate approaches.

I hold an M.B.B.S. degree from Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University and completed my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, with a strong academic and clinical foundation in mental health. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric and psychological conditions across different age groups and backgrounds. My work focuses on treating individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress-related illnesses, emotional trauma, sleep disturbances, and other mental health challenges. Through my clinical practice, I have developed a reputation for being an empathetic listener and a supportive guide—traits that patients find reassuring and vital in their journey toward recovery. I firmly believe that effective mental health care begins with understanding the individual behind the symptoms. My consultations are centered around building a safe, non-judgmental environment where patients can speak freely and feel heard. I take time to understand the unique emotional, social, and psychological factors affecting each person, and I create treatment plans that are not only evidence-based but also practical and personalized. Depending on the needs of the patient, my approach may involve supportive therapy, counseling, behavioral techniques, or lifestyle adjustments to manage stress and emotional imbalance. I also place strong emphasis on mental health education, helping patients and their families understand the nature of their conditions and equipping them with tools for long-term emotional resilience. In every case I manage, my goal is to offer more than just symptom relief—I strive to help individuals regain confidence, improve their coping mechanisms, and move toward a more stable and fulfilling life. Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every patient I work with receives compassionate, respectful, and informed care tailored to their unique situation.
